Jasmin Duraković is a renowned director, screenwriter and producer from BiH as well as a former long-term RTV BiH director. He is a many-time awarded artist who has been numerously recognized for his work in BiH and abroad.

„Nafaka“, „Ja sam iz Krajine, zemlje kestena“, „Sevdah za Karima“, TV shows „Viza za budućnost“, „Lud, zbunjen, normalan“, and documentaries „Pozitivna geografija“, are only a few of his sucessful projects which he has worked on and which have stolen hearts of the audience all over the country and abroad.

„Most importantly, you must have faith in what you do; yourself and the people you work with, even when everyone else doubts you.“- said Jasmin. He shared this piece of advice with many young filmmakers and provided examples from his feature film Nafaka 'fun facts' which he started working on in 1998 without any intitial investments- only a good story and amazing co-workers. They started working on the film in late 2004, but it was a huge success nevertheless. Nafaka might just be one of the most successful stories in all of our region; production-wise and as far as cinematography goes- according to Jasmin.

Lastly, the thing this filmmaker is most proud of is the overall interaction of Balkan film association of all ganres, forming a platform of a potential success for young filmmakers in starting light of their careers and working towards making their dreams come true.
